Each sign of the zodiac lets loose and parties in a different way. None of them are better than the others–it’s just about finding your style.
Aries (March 21-April 19)
Aries loves to move, so busting out some joyful dance moves is definitely on the table. Just not literally on the table, okay? Their dancing is often infectious, encouraging others to get up and move, too.
Taurus (April 20-May 20)
Taurus tends to be a gourmet, so most celebrations will center on food. They might not bake or cook themselves, but they appreciate a tasty indulgence on special occasions.
Gemini (May 21-June 20)
As the zodiac sign ruled by Mercury, Gemini has the gift of gab. When they’re happy and excited, they’ll talk–or write, or even sing–about it. This sign can get overstimulated, however, and turn from bubbly to grumpy quickly.
Cancer (June 21-July 22)
When Cancerians celebrate, they want everyone else to have a good time, too. This nurturing water sign is always a generous host, and they take great satisfaction in making others happy and welcome.
Leo (July 23-August 22)
There’s no party like a Leo party. This sign lives life to the fullest, and when they celebrate, they do so with flair. Think fireworks, champagne, and glitter!
Virgo (August 23-September 22)
Virgo isn’t the more demonstrative sign. When they celebrate, it tends to be a lot more low-key than other people. In fact, they may even be accused of being cold or distant. Know that they are quietly reveling on the inside.
Libra (September 23-October 22)
Libra finds it hard to completely relax and enjoy themselves. They worry about what others will think a bit too much. Libras may spend most of their party updating social media–and watching to see how much engagement they get.
Scorpio (October 23-November 21)
Scorpio has a reputation as a rebel, but that doesn’t mean they’re wild partiers. In fact, this sign would rather celebrate quietly at home or with a small group of friends. They keep things understated with modest–but quality–decorations and food.
Sagittarius (November 22-December 21)
Sagittarius is the life of the party–but not the planner of the party. They do best when they can show up and be their charming selves without extra responsibilities. They prefer to live in the moment and celebrate each day as it comes.
Capricorn (December 22-January 19)
A Capricorn celebration tends to be more formal and traditional. They like to follow the rules of etiquette, even if other people do not. Some people might call them stuffy or old-fashioned.
Aquarius (January 20-February 18)
When Aquarius has something to celebrate, they keep things very casual. So casual, in fact, that their loved ones might not even realize that it’s a special occasion. They prefer smaller gatherings without too much structure–and Aquarius will probably serve food that half the people there have never heard of.
Pisces (February 19-March 20)
Pisces is allergic to big crowds, but they thrive in smaller gatherings where their wit and creativity can shine. This sign will probably DIY as much of their celebration as possible–and do a great job, too.
