About Chiron
Considered a minor planet in the outer solar system, Chiron was discovered in 1977 orbiting between the asteroid belt and the Kuiper belt. Astronomers consider it a centaur, an intermediate object that is a hybrid between a comet and asteroid. For this reason, some astrologers see Chiron as a bridge between the inner and outer planets.
It is named after “Chiron,” who in Greek mythology is a centaur, said to be the “wisest injustice of all the centaurs.” Chiron is the foster son of Apollo, known for his knowledge of medicine, discoverer of botany and pharmacy, herbs, archery, music, and prophecy.

The holistic influence of Chiron is profound, as Chiron is influencing humanity to heal as a whole. Interestingly, there is a Native American prophecy which states that when the planet of healing is discovered in the sky, the ancient sacred teachings will return to earth. Chiron was discovered in 1977.
Holistic is related to the idea of healing the whole body, not just its parts. But it is also related to holism, an idea that the universe itself is a system of wholes, and as we heal those, we heal the universe has a whole. Thus, Chiron seeks a whole-making or healing of the entire universe.
