We’re still flying high on all of that fiery Leo energy today, and the air around us feels charged with upbeat, pleasant vibes. Tonight is an incredibly potent new moon, which might have us feeling a bit withdrawn and introspective. This is the perfect time to work on manifesting big things in your life over the next six months.
Venus is Sextile Uranus at 4:12 PM
This afternoon, Venus in watery Cancer forms a sextile with Uranus in grounded Taurus. This transit will have you wanting to break out of your normal routine in search of something new and exciting. You might want to seek out new friends or a change of scenery, as everything seems to bore you a bit.
It’s a great time to socialize if possible; just know that any relationships started under this transit aren’t likely to be lasting at this time. Don’t put too much emphasis on permanence or attachment. This is a fleeting, but fun energy.
The Moon is Trine Mars at 7:52 PM
This evening, the moon in Leo forms a trine with Mars in Aries, bringing with it some seriously fiery, spicy energy. This aspect has us feeling daring, sexy, and charismatic, and urges us to make the first move and take the lead.
You’ll find you intuitively know what you want and how to get it, especially in your relationships. It’s OK to be direct and assertive; there’s no reason to fear being bossy or taken the wrong way. Even if you’re typically shy, take advantage of this bout of uncharacteristic boldness.
This is also a time when you’ll find it easier than normal to stand up for yourself and your loved ones in challenging situations. Your energy and enthusiasm will draw people in, and quite honestly will be contagious. You’re a force to be reckoned with. Do something productive with that.
The New Moon in Leo Occurs at 10:42 PM
Our sun, moon, and Mercury are all in Leo at present—the sign of creativity, courage and confidence—and while the energy of tonight’s new moon calls us inward, that introspection will serve the purpose of exposing how we’ve been playing small so we can stop with that nonsense. Shrinking away from your potential out of fear serves no one. It’s time to start taking up space.
This is the second new moon within the last 30 days, which is also called a black moon. Black moons are very potent for manifestation work. Take some time this evening to light a candle and some incense, anoint yourself with essential oils, and then write down what you wish to appear in your life over the next six months. Be as specific as possible—really visualize and meditate on each item. Ask yourself what that new office will smell like. What does the touch of that new lover feel like? What does the engine of that new car sound like?
Make it as real as possible. Pull some tarot cards for clarity if you like. Then burn that list to send it off into the universe. (Or, just blow out a candle and keep that list around so you can check things off as they come to fruition.)
