We’ve all been in the trenches together for a couple of months now. And while some things have been consistent among everyone—a toilet paper shortage turns out to be quite an equalizer—not everyone has reacted to the Coronavirus pandemic the same way. This is being especially highlighted right now with some states loosening restrictions. Some of us are chomping at the bit to get back to normal; some of us think it’s too soon.
Might our zodiac signs shed some light on why that is? Let’s take a look.
Aries (March 21-April 19)
You have no problem spending time in (relative) isolation, Aries. What you do mind is being cooped up inside. You like to be a pioneer in everything you do, so you might find yourself wanting to be the first to get back out there and jump start civilization. You just want to move forward!
Taurus (April 20-May 20)
You’ve got your food stored, you’ve got your toilet paper stockpiled (don’t deny it), and you’ve got your TV and fuzzy slippers. Taurus, this whole quarantine thing hasn’t been too bad for you. The thought of venturing out too soon doesn’t sound too comfy. You’d rather just stay where you are.
Gemini (May 21-June 20)
You go back and forth, Gemini (surprise, surprise). On the one hand you really miss your social butterfly days, but on the other you’ve been researching and you know there are risks to weigh. You also really dig all the new hobbies you’ve been able to pick up while your day job has been on hold.
Cancer (June 21-July 22)
Nope. Nope nope nope. Let the world get back to their regularly scheduled programming if they want. You’ll peek your head out of its shell in a couple more months if things are looking better. And they have to be looking way better than they are right now.
Leo (July 23-August 22)
What have you even been doing with yourself these last two months, Leo? Where are your people? Where are your crowds of adoring fans? You’ll probably be the first person to throw a “The World Didn’t End!” party when the time comes. And it will be epic.
Virgo (August 23-September 22)
You might be willing to discuss the idea of getting back to normal if people would just act responsibly! Geez! You spotted four people on your last grocery trip that weren’t wearing masks, and they definitely weren’t staying six feet apart from each other. Meanwhile, the skin is peeling off of your hands from so much sanitizing.
Libra (September 23-October 22)
You’re concerned with the state of society right now, Libra, and all the ugliness of the world is getting to you a little bit. You can see all sides of all opinions, and you just want to see some peace, harmony, and connection. This pandemic could make us more loving, stronger people if we let it.
Scorpio (October 23-November 21)
Social distancing is no problem for you, Scorpio, in fact you’ve kind of been loving it. There’s also a part of you that’s fascinated with the mystery of not knowing when or how this will all end. The financial implications of this pandemic have you stressing out big time, though.
Sagittarius (November 22-December 21)
When you feel like someone is taking away your freedom you start to rebel, Sag. You miss gathering with your friends and going on adventures when you want to, and you resent the fact that everyone keeps on telling you what you can do and when you can do it. You might be feeling like enough is enough with all of this isolation.
Capricorn (December 22-January 20)
You’ve got some heavy influences from the planets currently transiting your sign, Cap, and you might feel like the weight of the world is on your shoulders. You can’t understand why more people aren’t taking this thing seriously. You’re more stressed about people’s reactions than the disease itself.
Aquarius (January 21-February 20)
You’ve probably got your own ideas about what’s going on, Aquarius. People just blindly believe what they’re told to believe, and it drives you a little batty sometimes. Whether it’s corruption, coverups, or conspiracies, you’ve peeled back the curtain. You just wish others would see the light, too.
Pisces (February 21-March 20)
You’re sensitive and empathic, and hate to see and hear all of this contentious, conflicting information that’s been flying around. You miss connecting with all of your friends, but thinking of people being put at risk by the world opening up too soon makes your heart hurt. You’re just doing what you can to be positive and supportive to everyone.
