Andromeda DavisMy little home has been battered by heavy rain for three days, and my spirit is about as low and gloomy as the weather. But that is, in part, because your favorite astrologer is a Gemini! Each of the Zodiac signs is aligned with one of four elements, and water is just not my thing.

Earth: Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn
Earth signs are (no pun intended) the most grounded of all the Zodiac signs. You tend not to let passing inconveniences like the weather get you too riled up. However, you feel most energized on clear, calm days.
As an Earth sign, you need to get a little bit of what the Japanese call “forest bathing” on a regular basis. Getting in touch with nature can help increase your sense of focus and well-being. The best times to do this are in spring and fall, when the elements are more balanced. However, any time of year without extreme weather should work for you.
Earth signs also greatly benefit from gardening. If you don’t have a place to garden, then at least invest in a few houseplants to bring nature indoors.
Fire: Aries, Leo, Sagittarius
You can probably guess that Fire signs like hot, sunny weather. You are most energized during summer and enjoy being outdoors on even the warmest days. When other people are wilting from the heat, you’re fired up!
Some of your favorite warm-weather activities include outdoor sports (both playing and watching), laying out to work on your tan, and cookouts with family and friends.
But don’t’ forget to wear sunscreen, okay? Just because you worship the sun doesn’t mean you’re immune from UV radiation.
Air: Gemini, Libra, Aquarius
Your perfect weather is a blustery day in spring or fall, not too hot or too cold. You like to watch the breeze pick up fallen leaves or flower petals and feel the wind in your hair. As an Air sign, you love the playful, unpredictable energy of the wind.
You’ve been known to fly a kite–although if you haven’t done it a long time, then get out there and see what happens! You are also drawn to birds and colorful insects, and the idea of buying a drone appeals to you.
Pro tip: If you want to avoid letting the breeze have its way with skirts and dresses, sew weights into the hems.
Water: Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces
Water signs are the type of people who appreciate rainy days. You don’t mind getting your feet wet, and splashing through puddles is one of life’s great joys. It’s always seemed strange to you that other people go out of their way to avoid the rain.
On a rainy day–or, even better, a dark and stormy night–you’re probably curled up inside with a warm blanket. However, if the mood strikes you, no one should be surprised to find you dancing in the rain.
Remember to be careful during thunderstorms. Even though the energy of the storm is enticing, it’s still a dangerous force of nature.
