With so many streaming and rental services right at our fingertips, it’s easier than ever to indulge your inner child and binge some of the all-time great kids movies. Here’s our best guess of where you should start, based on your sign.
Aries (March 21-April 19)
Even as a kid, you always wanted to be the first to discover something. What could be a bigger fantasy for you than discovering TIME TRAVEL? Back to the Future was probably a favorite, and we’re willing to bet it holds up just as well now.
Taurus (April 20-May 20)
You’ve always been a fan of a rags to riches story. The plight of scrappy little Annie probably got to you on several levels. (We’re also guessing it might have kicked off that musical theater obsession!) And that fabulous vintage fashion and Art Deco set pieces? I mean, come on!
Gemini (May 21-June 20)
Lovable, rambunctious, and a little off the wall—PeeWee’s Big Adventure was made for you, Gemini. Admit it, you totally wanted a bright shiny red bike and would regularly try to scare your siblings with your Large Marge impression.
Cancer (June 21-July 22)
Always up for a chance to swoon over epic tales of love (twue wove) and adventure (from the comfort of your own couch), we’re betting The Princess Bride stayed at the top of your list. Don’t lie, you always kind of liked that it was based on a kissing book.
Leo (July 23-August 22)
We’re not sure if Kevin McCallister was a Leo himself, but his adventures as king of his own castle (and star of his own story) definitely resonated with little lions everywhere. Home Alone was definitely one you had on repeat, wasn’t it?
Virgo (August 23-September 22)
“Practice makes perfect” is a motto you were practically born with, Virgo. And what better movie to prove that sentiment than The Karate Kid? An unassuming bullied teenager rises above with nothing but good old fashioned hard work? Sounds like a match made in heaven.
Libra (September 23-October 22)
The story of a boy who discovered an unlikely friend that other people wanted to hunt down tugged at your heartstrings as a kid, Libra. You’ve always been one to see the hidden beauty in the world, and E.T. was the perfect example.
Scorpio (October 23-November 21)
You never minded the dark side of things, Scorpio. You could always find humor in things other people thought of as twisted. That’s why Beetlejuice has always been a favorite, and you may or may not have already decided how you’re going to haunt your home in the afterlife.
Sagittarius (November 22-December 21)
Pirate ships? Hidden treasure? Epic adventures through a system of forgotten caves? What’s not to love? Goonies was definitely a favorite of yours as a little thrill-seeker, Sagittarius.
Capricorn (December 23-January 20)
No other sign could relate quite as much to the story of a young boy who wanted to be all grown up. In fact, you probably watched most of the movie Big thinking “Hey this doesn’t look too hard! I could totally do this adulthood thing.”
Aquarius (January 20-February 18)
Much like your dreamy, eccentric self, the plot of the classic The NeverEnding Story is hard to put into words. But that doesn’t mean we love it any less. If this was a favorite of yours as a kid (we’re betting you had at least one pet or stuffed animal named Falcor), check it out again and revel in all the unintelligible splendor.
Pisces (February 19-March 20)
No one knows just how amazing a good cry can be like you, Pisces. Your sensitive little heart loved the adventures of Veda and Thomas J. the first time you saw it, and you still love My Girl all these years later (even if your friends can’t watch it all the way to the end).
