Aries (March 21-April 19)
Aries tend to appear organized on the outside, but behind closed doors they are total messes. Make it your mission to clean out whichever drawers, closets, or other spaces that you’ve been shoving stuff into. Pro tip: Most of it can probably be thrown away if you haven’t seen it for more than six months.
Taurus (April 20-May 20)
It’s not too late to put in a garden, Taurus! Even if you only have a sunny windowsill, you can grow beautiful flowers or nutritious vegetables. Order some heirloom seeds and start planting now for a harvest in early summer. As a bonus, you’ll get plenty of fresh air and feel deeply grounded as you play in the dirt.
Gemini (May 21-June 20)
Gemini will never run out of hobbies and projects to try. Unfortunately, they’re not great at actually finishing anything. Instead of starting something new, inventory your half-finished projects. If you have no interest in completing something, toss it. Otherwise, work your way down the list, and finish what you started.
Cancer (June 21-July 22)
If you don’t already make your own household cleaners, this is a great opportunity to start. With products such as Lysol wipes in short supply, you might as well learn to mix your own all-purpose spray cleaner, laundry soap, and other essentials that use just a few natural ingredients.
Leo (July 23-August 22)
If you’ve always wanted to learn how to play an instrument or sing, now’s the time. You can find tutorials on YouTube, apps that will teach you to play just about any instrument, or support a local teacher by signing up for video lessons.
Virgo (August 23-September 22)
You’re already a fairly tidy and organized person, Virgo, but your home may feel a little cold. If possible, change things up with a new paint color on the walls. If you live in a place where you aren’t permitted to paint, try peel-and-stick wallpaper to create a trendy yet tasteful accent wall.
Libra (September 23-October 22)
Libras love feeling cozy and happy in their homes, surrounded by all of their favorite things. If your living space isn’t quite hitting the mark, see if rearranging furniture, swapping out throw pillows, or moving decorative pieces you already own makes a difference. It’s like a home makeover, but free!
Scorpio (October 23-November 21)
When was the last time you gave your ride some TLC? Now that spring is on its way and we’re all trapped at home, why not give your vehicle a thorough detailing? It’ll get you outside and give you a feeling of accomplishment. If you don’t have a vehicle, give the same treatment to your shoes and jackets to make them look brand-new.
Sagittarius (November 22-December 21)
Get in the kitchen and start learning, Sagittarius! You aren’t the most culinary person in the world under normal circumstances, but now you need to fend for yourself–and feed yourself something other than takeout pizza and microwave burritos. Learning how to cook two or three healthy, delicious dishes is a skill that you’ll appreciate for a lifetime.
Capricorn (December 23-January 20)
Do you have clothing that you no longer wear because of a missing button or frayed hem? Repairing clothes is not only surprisingly easy, but it’s also the eco- and budget-conscious thing to do. Grab a needle, thread, scissors–and your phone, to look up a few tutorials.
Aquarius (January 20-February 18)
Being stuck at home can be challenging for an extrovert–and most Aquarians fall into that category. You need to burn off some energy, so fire up a dance or martial arts video that you can follow along in your living room. It’s not quite the same thing as going to a class at your local gym, but it’ll tide you over.
Pisces (February 19-March 20)
Pisces, in many ways self-quarantine is your ideal life. You get to stay home in your PJs and hide from the world. But don’t get so comfy that you fall into an unproductive rut. Pisces is an artistic sign by nature, so challenge yourself to write, draw or find some other outlet to express yourself every single day.
