Venus is Opposite Pluto

Venus is the planet of love and beauty, and is currently in the sign of emotional Cancer. Pluto is the planet of death and rebirth, and is currently in grounded Capricorn. When these two planets dance, it can turn everything we know about our relationships on its head.

Don’t be shocked if your closest relationships start feeling like they’re under pressure. This transit can introduce themes of suspicion, jealousy, possessiveness, manipulation, and power plays. (Are we having fun yet?)

If you’re in a committed partnership, you may find yourself motivated by envy, desire, or greediness. It’s possible you’ll deceive or manipulate your partner in order to get them to act how you want. But heads up, they’re being influenced by the same planetary energies. They’ll be suspicious of your motivations, which will introduce even more pressure.

If you’re currently single, be especially skeptical of and cautious around anyone you feel a strong attraction to right now. You’re acting on impulse and prone to rash decisions. You’re also intrigued by the dark and mysterious right now, and could attract someone who will mistreat you. Try to keep your eyes open for clues to a violent, abusive, or criminal past.

Mercury is Opposite Neptune

Mercury, ruler of thought and communication, is currently in analytical Virgo. But Neptune, planet of dreams and illusions, is currently in fantastical Pisces. And these two are butting heads right now.

Expect your thoughts and words to be a bit fuzzy and jumbled right now. This mental confusion can lead to serious miscommunication, which can all too easily lead to relationship problems. Sensing a theme?

Our perception of reality is clouded and dreamy, and slightly chaotic feeling. It’s difficult to filter the truth from all the other noise flying around. If you can, avoid making important decisions or doing things like negotiating contracts at this time.

If that’s not possible, then hire a professional that you trust to advise and guide you. As it often happens under a Pisces influence, it will be easier than normal for people to take advantage of you.

It’s also not ideal to enter into serious discussions with family or your significant other right now. Wait until the smoke clears, and you feel sharp-minded and articulate again.

What is advisable at this time is focusing on creative projects, or some other sort of escapism that feeds into your current interest of mystical or otherworldly subjects. Revel in those dreams and ideas flowing through you. Just don’t take them too seriously right now.
