Let’s take a look at how the Royals stack up against the Zodiac.
Queen Elizabeth
Naturally, we begin with Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. The Queen was born near the end of April, making her a Taurus. And we can totally see that.
Taurans are steadfast, dependable, and–yeah–stubborn. You have to be at least a little stubborn when you literally rule an empire, right?
Princess Margaret and Duchess Meghan
The Queen’s little sister, Margaret, was known as a wild child who loved to party and always spoke her mind. She craved the spotlight–far more than the sister who was destined to be queen. It’s no surprise that Margaret was a Leo. (She’s also partly responsible for modern-day horoscopes–find out how in this post!)
Meghan is also a Leo, but she represents a slightly different side of the Fire sign. Although she was drawn to show business, as many Leos are, she’s also very protective of the people she loves. And absolutely ferocious to anyone who threatens them.
William and Harry (and Bonus Kate)
The Wales brothers have allegedly grown apart over the years, which breaks the hearts of longtime Royal watchers who remember them as kids. William is a Cancer, just like their mother. That sign feels emotions deeply but struggles to process them.
He’s balanced by his practical, outgoing wife; Kate is a Capricorn and brings grounding energy to the relationship.
As for Prince Harry, he’s an interesting case. At first glance, he seems like a shoo-in for a Sagittarius or even an Aries. But Harry is actually a Virgo!
You can see some of Virgo’s drive and attention to detail in his more recent charity work, but honestly, we’d be curious to see his entire Natal Chart.
Princess Anne and Prince Andrew
Two Royals making headlines today are Princess Anne (a Leo) and her younger brother Prince Andrew (a Pisces). Brave, outspoken Anne fits the bill as a Leo.
During the recent NATO summit, the Princess Royal caused a stir by appearing to throw shade at Donald Trump, refusing to join the family in greeting him at Buckingham Palace.
But Anne’s minor rebellion is nothing compared to Prince Andrew, whose behavior is threatening to topple the monarchy. As a Pisces, he’s prone to being emotional and dealing poorly with confrontation.
They’re also often weak-willed–and, in Andrew’s case, that tendency seems to be made worse by his sheltered upbringing as the Queen’s rumored favorite.
Prince Charles, Princess Diana, and Duchess Camilla
Anyone who understands astrology could have predicted that a wedding between Charles and Diana was bound for disaster. Scorpios like Charles are terrible at being open with their emotions, while sensitive and gentle Cancers like Diana need their partner.
Ironically, Camilla is also a Cancer. It’s possible that Charles learned how to be a better partner after his mistakes with his first marriage.
