We can’t stop thinking about Game of Thrones! Now that the final season is underway, we thought it’d be fun to figure out which Zodiac sign best fits our favorite characters.
Sansa Stark: Totally a Taurus
Sansa has grown into a formidable ruler. She’s strong and determined–even stubborn, when she’s fighting for her people. She also loves Winterfell and prefers to stay back and defend her home instead of having adventures all over the kingdom. Her mother, Catelyn, was also a Taurus.
Danaerys Targaryen: Fiery Aries
There was no question that Dany would be a Fire sign. But we think she best exemplifies warlike Aries with her strong leadership skills and bold, take-no-prisoners attitude.
Jon Snow: Classic Capricorn
Capricorns are all about duty and hard work. And has anyone worked harder to find his way than Jon Snow? His slow, dedicated progress toward–maybe–claiming his rightful place as ruler of Westeros has required a huge amount of patience.
Cersei Lannister: Secretly a Cancer
Okay, so at first we were like, “Can we invent a new Zodiac sign so nobody has to share with this hateful queen?” But the more we thought about it, the more we felt Cersei was a Cancer. She’s 100% tough on the outside, but on the inside, she loves her family (in Jamie’s case, love-loves) more than anything else in the world.
Bran Stark: Aquarius Visionary
Aquarius is tapped into the clairvoyant currents of the world. They’re dreamers and thinkers, great visionaries sometimes who view the world as an unfolding game. Sound like any Three-Eyed Ravens you know?
Arya Stark: Changeable Gemini
Could Arya be any more of a Gemini? She literally changes her face! And like all Geminis, Arya has a clever mind, multiple hidden talents, and the ability to deliver some great one-liners.
Ironically, Littlefinger was also a Gemini. That didn’t work out too well for him–and, in fact, most Geminis won’t get along. There just isn’t enough room for all those personalities in one place!
Joffrey Baratheon: The Dark Side of Leo
Now, before you get upset, we totally think Leos can be amazing people. But their nature can get twisted, and when that happens, you end up with a spoiled, prideful brat like Joffrey.
His uncle-dad, Jamie, is also a Leo–but he mostly represents the positive side of the Zodiac sign.
Brienne of Tarth: Honorable Virgo
Brienne is noble, devoted, and holds to her own code of honor. She’s pledged her life to her cause–which makes sense, because Virgos love a cause. They’re loyal to a fault and can come off as cold to those who don’t take the time to understand them.
Tyrion Lannister: Sagittarius and Proud of It
We’re not just saying Tyrion is a Sagittarius because of the archery connection. They’re also smart as heck, party hard, and totally charming. Sagittarians are also always looking at the big picture and thinking about how to make the future they want to come true.
