Andromeda DavisSome things don’t mix after a while… Like water and iron. Water can make things shiny for a while, but without great care, it eventually rusts the iron. And some things create a lot of energy when they mix, like gasoline and a spark – but they also can cause explosions!
You get the idea… And the idea is, there may be a lot of sheen and spark to these relationships in the beginning, but after a while – these combinations can turn toxic!
1. Aries + Cancer
Aries brings a lot of energy and Cancer brings a lot of heart, but eventually, everything turns to heartbreak. Aries is too impulsive, independent and always wants to be on the go, while Cancer is a needy homebody that wants to cling to someone and have that person all to themselves.
Further, Aries is brash and is continually hurting the feelings of overly sensitive Cancer.
2. Taurus + Capricorn
The first problem you have here is two signs with strong opinions and pronounced stubbornness. The result is both of them locking their proverbial horns continuously. What you get is a relationship that is constantly in a state of stalemate.
The biggest problem of all is that both of these signs are a little too much alike, and while there is agreement on their positive aspects, the similarity of their shared negative traits keeps them in a constant battle.
3. Libra + Scorpio
The recipe for disaster here is that you have flirty Libra combined with jealous Scorpio. The problem is, Libra just flirts for sport, most of the time they don’t even mean it. But Libra is so gullible, they don’t even recognize when that third party is taking their flirtatious words and actions seriously.
And their Scorpio partner takes it seriously, too! Scorpio is loyal and demands the same in return.
If they even think their partner is cheating on them – look out! While the reaction from Scorpio can sometimes be swift and fierce, like having a drink thrown in your face in the middle of the party – it’s the stealth revenge that you never see coming that is the worst!
4. Sagittarius + Virgo
There are two main traits shared between this pairing that are in complete opposition and eventually brings the relationship to ruin. Virgo is an organized, meticulous perfectionist who can’t stand inefficiency and plans out everything in detail.
On the other hand, Sagittarius plays everything fast and loose, acting on impulse, and can be quite careless. In time, this is something Virgo absolutely cannot tolerate – and it’s a deal breaker.
5. Aquarius + Leo
Leo is a strong leader, who is goal oriented and used to calling the shots. And while Leo often can do things in completely new ways, they also have their traditional side which they are committed to for some things. Aquarius, on the other hand, is all about bucking tradition.
Not only that, they possess a strong intellect and tend to think of themselves as the smartest person in the room. When you put these two together, you have a continual battle for the spotlight. What you are left with is that old western movie cliché: “This town isn’t big enough for both of us!”
6. Pisces + Gemini
Gemini has a very sarcastic wit, and sometimes it can be particularly biting. They also tend to wag their tongue a lot, and will sometimes say something behind their partner’s back that will find its way home.
Pisces, being overly sensitive, doesn’t deal well with this criticism, especially when it’s coming from someone they feel is supposed to be their most trusted ally.
Pisces views this as a complete betrayal. Gemini simply can’t help themselves when it comes to what comes out of their mouths, and though they will apologize, it doesn’t mean it won’t happen again.
