Each sign of the zodiac has cosmically-given characteristics and personality traits that make them behave in certain ways – and being loyal is one of them.
You can at least find comfort in the fact that, when it comes to finding a faithful mate based on the zodiac – your odds are 50-50!
1. Cancer (June 21-July 22)
Cancer is a loving and caring sign with a strong sense of devotion and loyalty. They are very giving of themselves, while being protective of those they care about. They have a strong sense of home, and prefer to put down permanent roots with a soulmate. However, their strong emotions also have a downside… Cancer can also be very needy, clingy, overly-sensitive and insecure at times. More than anything, they want to be valued by their partner.
2. Capricorn (December 22-January 19)
Capricorns have especially high standards and unfaithfulness is something they view as beneath them. They take commitment very seriously. They see cheating as indicative of a lack of character. Capricorns value their sense of self-worth so strongly, that faithfulness is more about defiling themselves, than it is of harming their partner. If things aren’t working out in the relationship, they will move on rather than cheat.
3. Virgo (August 23-September 22)
Virgo are intensely dedicated to every area of their lives, and especially so of maintaining loyalty in relationships. Despite their irritable and fussy nature, they are actually highly humane, and the last thing they want to do is hurt someone else. Virgos simply can’t bear the thought of being unfaithful and creating heartbreak for anyone they care about.
4. Taurus (April 20-May 20)
Once Taurus has set their mind on someone as their “forever person,” this immovable sign is locked-on for life. While Taurus are accused of being self-centered, this trait bolsters their loyalty, as they view commitment reflective of personal character. Trust is among the highest of their values. So much so, that their bigger problem is their own jealousy issues worrying over whether their partner being unfaithful.
5. Leo (July 23-August 22)
There is one crucial factor in keeping a Leo a faithful: They need consistent attention and ego-stroking. What actually works best is to reminding them where their bread gets buttered! While Leos can be lustful, they set high standards for themselves and prefer the honor of being faithful. They see cheating as detrimental to their own character, preferring to end a relationship that’s not working out, rather than be unfaithful.
6. Scorpio (October 23-November 21)
Scorpios are intense in everything they do, and in every aspect of their lives. Their sense of loyalty is no different – it’s fierce. They are highly protective of what they value, love and of what they consider to be theirs. Scorpios won’t stray, and they will have their partner’s back through thick and thin as long as the other doesn’t break the pact. However, this same high level of intensity can breed suspicion and jealousy toward their partner, even becoming obsessive at times. And if their partner strays – revenge is on the menu!
